One thing is certain, our planet and the Moon affect each other, the Moon more so on the Earth in terms of tides and light at night. If there are humans on the Moon someday in colonies, I am sure the Earth will be a sight to behold in the lunar sky.
The Moon has stabilized Earth's spin on its axis which has led to consistency in sunlight, seasons and weather - all good for life to develop and thrive.
