Curiosity Drives and Navigates On Her Own

Hey Space Placers!

The nuclear powered Mars lab-rover Curiosity drove and navigated herself today autonomously for the first time. This was a big step in the rover's exploration of Mars as it will allow the rover to determine where it is safe to drive without human intervention.

HERE COMES COMET A3 IN THE WESTERN SKY

Check out Comet A3!  The bright Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS will first become visible in the evening sky on October 11th, appearing between Antares, the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius, and Arcturus, the brightest star in Boötes.
