Happy weekend and for the US Happy Labor Day.
Tonight there is a MUST SEE event in the sky at 11:00 PM local lime.
The Waning Gibbous Moon and Mars are going to be VERY CLOSE to one another in the eastern sky. They will be about 1/2 a DEGREE Apart! THAT is close. Mars will be above the northern limb of the Moon.

For observers in parts of the world the Moon will actually occult or pass in front of Mars.
Mars is getting brighter and brighter and will be the second brightest object in the night sky later this month.
Be sure to get out and take a peek! You will be glad you did!
