Hey Space Placers!
Total Solar Eclipse 2019

100 years ago today the greatest geomagnetic storm of the 20th Century hit planet Earth and set buildings on fire and caused Auroras to be visible at the equator!
I have blogged on how we must be prepared for such events:

If you think the recent gas shortage due to a RANSOMWARE ATTACK on the East Coast was bad, try to imagine the loss of the North American power grid due to a solar event!
On a happier note, today is also International Astronomy Day. Get outside tonight and enjoy the sky. The Moon will be near Mars tonight and the Milky Way rises around local midnight.
