Hey Space Placers,
Sunday Night's ALMOST Full Strawberry Supermoon Lights Up the Sky
Greg Redfern
Tonight - Monday - the Moon will be almost Full and gorgeous to see in the sky. It will rise in the southeast just before sunset and may display some orangish-red color if there is a lot of humidity and/or dust/smoke in your sky.
The Full Strawberry Supermoon will officially take place on Tuesday at 7:52 a.m. EDT, when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. So tonight and tomorrow night are great opportunities to see this almost summer sky spectacle.
Try taking a picture like the one above I did with my hand held smartphone.
If you are lucky you will have frogs and toads serenading you like I had last night.
