LT Nyota Uhura , U.S.S. Enterprise Communications Officer on the original Star Trek was brilliantly portrayed by the beautiful and wonderful Nichelle Nichols. She passed recently and the Internet, Media and NASA highlighted her many contributions to humanity.

She was a multi-faceted game changer and pioneer and helped NASA to achieve much in terms of recruitment of women and minorities.

She was a wonderful human being and she will be missed.
