Wow, the Shenandoah National Park Night Sky Festival HAD THOUSANDS OF ATTENDEES!!!! It was a magical a new comet while taking wide  night with humans of all colors, nationalities and ages united in the love and wonder of the glorious night skies.

Russia's Luna 25 spacecraft has crashed into the Moon. It joins the lunar graveyard of recent attempted landings resulting in crashes of Israel's Beresheet,  Japan's Hakuto-R and India's Chandrayaan 2 . The world waits to see if Chandrayaan 3 successfully lands on August 23, 2023.

Finally, a Japanese amateur astronomer beat all the robotic telescopes by discovering a new comet which may brighten to naked eye visibility!

MUCH is happening in the sky so stay tuned!
