Hey, Space Placers!
Two big news stories about Alien subjects.
'Alien' spherules dredged from the Pacific are probably just industrial pollution, new studies suggest
The jury is out as to total and conclusive identification of the spherules' origin but as Carl Sagan famously said, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof'. Loeb has jumped to some pretty "out there claims" without proof or even substantial evidence with regard to several events.
To me he is the new "Face on Mars" huckster......
What we actually know about aliens, according to science....
This is a comprehensive article which aligns with another one of Loeb's claim about extraterrestrials and the current UAP trends as seen by science.
For the record, I think there is a very high probability that life, even intelligent life, exists elsewhere in the Universe, and quite probably our Milky Way Galaxy. There are just too many stars and planets - "billions and billions" to think that Mother Nature would make Earth & humans exclusively with no others.
Mother Nature does NOTHING just once. I think we will discover current simple biological life and/or proof of fossils in our solar system and precursors or indicators of possible life in the atmospheres of exoplanets in the near futures.
First Contact with an alien civilization visiting Earth? Kind of doubt it as space is a big place and the distances involved between the stars is, well, astronomical.
