Hey Space Placers!
Look for tonight's waning moon to ascend in the eastern sky in mid- to late evening. The bright golden object near it will be Saturn. The moon will occult – or pass in front of – Saturn for observers from Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and Europe at 3 UTC on August 21. And does the moon still look bright to you? That's because we're just 1 day past the supermoon! For more sky events, visit EarthSky’s night sky guide. Or watch a 1-minute video about tonight's moon and Saturn. |
This will be a beautiful sky view almost everywhere on our planet.
Take a peek and enjoy!!!!
